Gianni Serra

Gianni Serra is born to Alghero in the 1966. Painter, draftsman, portraitist, renovator.

His way to paint, his lights, are already unmistakable.Serra' style is of great effect, with sure brushstrokes and with

an explosion of warm colors typical of his origin Sardinians.He has participated in various collective shows organized by

the Arte Spazio Gallery (Sassari, Bultei, Ozieri, Padru, Lecce, Bari, Montecarlo - Lucca -), and he has prepared different

solo exhibition, the most prestigious at "Hotel Conferences Centre" of Porto Cervo where he has exposed a series of 12

great representing panels the most important Sardinian parties, receiving good criticisms.

In 2007 he has illustrated (technique ink of slope) 20 representations of the King Carlo V, in visit to Alghero in 1542,

for the Hotel Carlos V of Alghero.He's distinguished in all the principal extemporaneous of painting developed him in

Sardinia getting good criticisms and prizes of great prestige: among them we remember the I° Place

to the "Memorial Pietro Virdis" in Sassari (2004) , I° Place to Sassari on the occasion of "Art in Plaza - Giuseppe Biasi"

in 2007, I° Premio to Bono "Lights and colors in autumns in Goceano" always in the year 2007.
