The Arte Spazio Gallery

Located in Sassari, the Arte Spazio Gallery was founded in the early 70s. It is one of the few art galleries, if not the only one, which mount exhibitions of contemporary painters all over Sardinia, featuring the unique works of many nationally and internationally renowned artists like Sironi, Guttuso, Sassu, Biasi, Treccani, Floris, Dessy, Ballero, Bernardino Palazzi, Brindisi, Magazzini, Pietro Antonio Manca and Mario Delitala.
The one-man exhibitions held at the Arte Spazio Gallery are devoted, for example, to great nationally renowned masters like Ernesto Treccani (1980 - 1993 - 1997 - 2002), Mario Sironi (1994 - 1998), Alberto Sughi (1982 - 1988 - 1996), Remo Brindisi (1980 - 1985).

Christmas paintings at the Galleria Arte Spazio

On December 5 at 05pm, a painting exhibition for Christmas entitled "Il fine '800 conduce al contemporaneo" will be organized in the Galleria Arte Spazio, which is situated in via Principessa Maria.
With more than 70 works, the exhibition is characterized by a diversification of the periods and phases of art history.
The exhibition will be open with an oil painting from 1894 realized by the painter from Porto Torres Mario Paglietti, and then will be followed by "Riposo" by Filippo Figari from 1909, which will drive us from the "Novecento" ( Biasi, Ballero, Dessy, Melis ) to the late twentieth century and works by Costantino Spada, Liliana Cano e Giuseppe Bellino.
A section will also be dedicated to contemporary painters such as Andrea Bellino, Giuseppe Giorgi, Romano Buratti, Gianni Serra and others.
The important novelty of the year is the exhibition of 15 originals old Russian icons. On December 5, day of the inauguration, Professor Ubaldo Procope will hold a conference about the "Meaning of Russian Icons".
The painting exhibition, which has a free entrance, will remain open until January 20, 2011, whereas the section dedicated to Russian icons will be visible until December 30, 2010.

Opening hours are: 09.30 am to 01pm and 04.30pm to 08pm.

The Arte Spazio Gallery features the works of Sardinian artists like Mario Paglietti, Giuseppe Biasi,Carmelo Floris, Antonio Ballero,Bernardino Palazzi,Melkiorre Melis, Elio Pulli, Costantino Spada, Mario Delitala, Liliana Cano, Antonio Corriga, Libero Meledina ,Stanis Dessy , Pietro Antonio Manca, Ausonio Tanda, Cesare Cabras, Dino Fantini, Felice Melis Marini Giovanni Cau da Castelsardo, Angelo Romby, Giuseppe Bellino. The Arte Spazio Gallery also promotes remarkable emerging painters like Gianni Serra, Giovanni Arru, Antonio Pazzola, Aline Spada, Giovanni Mattu, Laura Pani, Cosimo Rodio, Andrea Bellino and other artists worthy of attention.
