Jean Calogero

Jean Calogero was born in Catania on August 20th, 1922.

He attended the art-school in Catania and in 1947 the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris.He has been included
in the International Catalogue of Benezit Art for twenty years. In 1957 in Paris, has been awarded the Largue
Silver Medal, the greatest reward to living artists.

Jean Calogero's paintings are present in the most important international art-collections. He has partecipated
in many International exhibitions, together with the most famous representatives of Modern Art .

Jean Calogero died in year 2001, when he lived and worked in Catania .
